A Dangerous Place to Picnic an extract from her book
Eileen has served as an aid worker in Afghanistan – a dangerous place at the best of times. And this is one of the many tales Eileen could tell of that wartorn country – this was not a quick trip to the corner shop but a dangerous trip through the Khyber Pass – an exciting story excitingly told.
Andrea said: “I felt it was a very professional piece which combined literary imagery, laid-back humour and journalistic accuracy.”
